In essence, my job serves as a bridge between design and development.
I frequently collaborate with both designers and developers across disciplines to create frontend prototypes, test design implementations, and provide feedback and recommendations to seamlessly integrate these two worlds
How often have you had to redesign a page or component mid-development due to the product's technical limitations? Or found yourself in meetings, explaining the designers' vision and why developers face challenges implementing it
My role is designed to create a crucial middle step in your production process, addressing these challenges and many others. By bridging the gap between design and development, I help ensure smoother workflows and more efficient collaboration
My fellow UX Engineer from Google explains why this role is so important for the company
My goal is to translate the provided design into functional code with absolute precision, replicating every detail to ensure a flawless match.

I believe it's essential to always question what we're doing. If a design doesn't align with the framework or design system, I collaborate with the designer to understand the reasoning and, if needed, suggest alternative approaches.
When we're deep into a project, whether in design or development, it's easy to overlook essential accessibility factors like text readability, color contrast, interactions, and navigability. I make it a point to stay mindful of these elements to ensure an inclusive user experience.
I enjoy studying frameworks, design systems, and existing components and pages to understand the general structure from a development perspective. This helps me adapt it to any necessary variations.
I believe it's crucial to set aside time for studying and staying updated on new technologies and tools. This keeps me equipped to offer fresh, more effective solutions to everyday challenges.
I always assess the time cost of every change, making sure it's worth the investment before moving forward
This is an area I really enjoy. I love creating and experimenting with new interactions, demos, and experiences, always exploring ways to evoke surprise, enjoyment, and satisfaction from the user.
On my Codepen Portfolio you can experience firsthand some of the interactions I've described.
As a child, like many kids my age, I enjoyed playing video games. One genre I loved was thinking games, including graphic adventures, point-and-click games, puzzles, and mysteries. The first video game I remember is called Broken Sword, and it was there that I fell in love with logic and programming.
Nowadays, as a grown man with projects, hobbies, and responsibilities, I still maintain a playful curiosity to learn more, explore new ideas, and discover innovative ways to approach challenges.
I am seeking for opportunities where my skills are valued and recognized, within a team that I can be proud to be a part of, one that allows me to reach my full potential.
